What the demo shows
Typed, ordered steps
Every step has a type, a position, materials and a safety note, so the order is explicit rather than implied.
Numbered runs
Each time the protocol is carried out it becomes a numbered run, so run 2 and run 3 can be told apart.
Parameters and observations
Values and free-text observations are recorded against the step they belong to, next to what was planned.
